Revit Facility Survey

AKEA was contracted to provide all labor, materials, and essentials necessary to complete an existing facility survey of the Gainesville VAMC property and to convert the existing facility record drawings into a Revit 3D model and database. The project included modeling of Building 1 (including Bed Tower, 480-Bed, E-Wing, Ambulatory Care Addition, and Mechanical Addition), Building 25, and Building 29. The Revit modeling of the Bed Tower included all floors and all disciplines; the remainder of Building 1 included all disciplines for the basement, and architectural only for upper floors. Apart from as-built file collection, survey efforts included LIDAR point cloud scanning, photography, and field measurements. The project also included an exterior ALTA (American Land Title Association) survey of the entire VAMC campus. The conventional survey was delivered in 2D AutoCad format.
